Llamma's Xbox 360 FacePlate Page So Many faceplates so little time. Lets take a crack at breaking them down to their respective categories/manufacturers. Lets take a crack at documenting "all" the faceplates out there. Granted we will never capture them all but it may be an interesting exercise if we want to identify where one came from when it finds its way into our hands. There is quiet a bit we can tell from the back of the faceplate. The original Microsoft ones are easily identified by the words Microsoft on the back, also the door has hunks of metal to hold it in place rather than plastic. The first Microsoft Xbox 360 face plate we saw was the E3 2005 faceplate. Then followed the original Microsoft faceplates, Madcatz and Pelican faceplates were also available at launch... the question was could you find an Xbox 360 in stock to go along with it!? Now we see many faceplates from 3rd party manufacturers offered free with pre-orders of select games Today we have a variety of face plates to choose from in the form of 100's of aftermarket designs Add to this the one off custom faceplate designs... (send a clear photo of
your faceplate design and we will post it here)
